The National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) announced today that 95.1% of U.S. medical school seniors matched. Of the applicants who matched, 81.6% of U.S. seniors matched to one of their top three choices. 56% of U.S. seniors matched to their first choice.
This year, the Match included 878 couples, an all-time high. This year, 804 couples matched to their respective residency program preferences (91.5%).
